Privacy notice
This page belongs to The Hetherington Team at Compass. Here is what it notes about your visit, who sees it, and how to say no.
What you give us
The form asks a few questions about your move, the time you'd like for your call, then your first and last name, your email and your mobile number. When you send it, they go to our own server and into the team's Follow Up Boss contact system, so we can call, text and email you about your move, as the box you check says. To stop texts, reply "stop"; every email has an unsubscribe link.
When you book a call
The open times come from our own server, and so does the booking. Our server books your call on Lorene's calendar through Calendly, which keeps the calendar and emails you the confirmation; Calendly gets your name, email, mobile number, the time you picked and your answers, and its own privacy notice covers what it does with them. With the booking our server also hands Calendly the tags in the link that brought you and, unless you said no (below), the visit number; never an ad's click number.
Measuring our ads
When you send the form, and when your call is booked, the page tells Google Ads, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) once we advertise there, so we can tell which ads lead to calls and meetings. To do that, the page sends Google a scrambled copy (a "hash") of your email, phone number and name, so Google can match your request to the ad you saw. Later, when a call or a meeting happens, our own server tells Google, and Meta once we advertise there, the same way, with a scrambled copy of your email and phone number. Neither ever gets your answers or your price range.
What the page counts
We use PostHog to count which steps visitors reach, the answers they tap from our set lists, how many days ahead and at what part of the day they pick a time (never the time itself), which version of the page they saw, and which video or ad brought them. It never notes a name, an email or a phone number. PostHog also records how visitors move through the page, so we can fix what gets in the way; the recording hides anything typed into a box, the time you picked and the confirmation.
The Google tag
Google's tag tells Google Ads when a visit from one of our ads leads to a sent form or a booked call, so we can tell which ads work. It also lets us show our ads again to people who visited this page. Its cookies stay on this site.
Our own visit record
Your browser makes a random visit number. With it we keep the tags in the link that brought you (which video or ad), the steps of the form you reached, and, when you came from an ad, the ad's click number from Google or Meta. They are kept in your browser and on our own server for 90 days (an ad's click number, 90 days from the click itself), to tell which videos and ads lead to calls, and we never sell them.
How to say no
Press "Don't track me" at the bottom of the main page. From then on this browser loads neither PostHog, the Google tag nor Meta's pixel, keeps no visit record, and sends nothing to our server but the form and the booking themselves, if you send them, without the visit number or an ad's click number. Details you sent before you pressed it keep what they were sent with. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it the same way. Either way you can still send the form and book a call.
